1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using StoryBuilt ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service
StoryBuilt is a software platform that allows users to upload video and audio content, generate transcriptions, and receive AI-generated story analysis reports. The Service is provided by StoryBuilt, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@getstorybuilt.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

Upload content that you do not have the right to use
Upload content that is illegal, harmful, obscene, or violates the rights of others
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the Service
Use the Service to transmit spam or malicious code
Share your account with others


6. Content Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you upload to StoryBuilt. By uploading content, you grant StoryBuilt, LLC a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.
We do not store your video or audio files after processing is complete. Generated transcripts and story reports are stored in your account and may be deleted by you at any time.

7. Payments and Subscriptions
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. StoryBuilt, LLC does not store your payment card information.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months of service. If a processing job fails due to a verified platform error, we will restore the usage hours consumed by that job.

8. Usage Limits
Each subscription plan includes a set number of processing hours per month as described on our pricing page. Unused hours do not roll over to the following month. Additional hours may be purchased as an add-on.

9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@getstorybuilt.com.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoryBuilt, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
